COUNSELING- RUNNING THERAPY- SOMATIC THERAPY- RUN COACHING

Ashley Brown, LCMHC

As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor specializing in trauma, I have the privilege of witnessing profound healing journeys. My practice is dedicated to providing a safe and supportive space where clients can embrace vulnerability and explore their inner experiences. This compassionate environment empowers individuals to move toward holistic wellness, fostering greater confidence and resilience in their relationships and daily lives.

I incorporate a variety of therapeutic modalities that blend active and somatic movement with balanced rest to help clients deepen their connection to themselves through embodiment. Drawing from evidence-based approaches—including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Psychodynamic-Attachment-Based Therapy, Trauma-Focused Somatic Therapy, TF-CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion-Focused Therapy, and sports psychology frameworks—I tailor interventions to meet each client’s unique needs.

Together, we nurture positive mental health that enriches well-being and strengthens meaningful connections with self and others. It is an honor to support this transformative process and celebrate the growth and resilience of those I serve.

THERAPY- INTUITIVE EATING COUNSELING- WALK-TALK THERAPY

Christina Canuto, LMFT

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor (CIEC) and a systems thinker, I see problems and solutions in the context of relationships and communities. I'm invested in helping you re-connect on systemic levels with the world around you in a way which feels authentic and grounding. My own daily mindfulness practice keeps me rooted and I love supporting clients as they discover ways of bringing mindfulness into their lives. In therapy with me, you’ll find a compassionate, honest space where slowing down and tuning in becomes part of the healing process.

I draw from attachment-based, somatic, relational, and compassion-focused approaches to help you strengthen your mind-body connection, regulate your nervous system, and nurture healthier patterns in your relationships. With couples and families, I utilize Emotion-Focused Therapy principles to help partners recognize negative interaction cycles and create new ways of being with one another that foster healing, deeper communication, and connection. For those interested, I can also integrate intuitive eating counseling to support a more trusting relationship with your body and with food.

Clients often share that our work invites them to meet themselves with more compassion and curiosity. My hope is to walk alongside as you rediscover a deeper sense of connection - with yourself, with others, and with the world around you.

Megan Pieterick, LCMHC

As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and art therapist, I believe that creative expression is a powerful tool for self-exploration and understanding, and that anyone, regardless of age or skill level, can benefit from using art to express thoughts and feelings that may be difficult to put into words.

I work with adolescents and adults, and use a variety of evidence-based approaches in my approach to create a unique treatment plan best suited for each client. These approaches include Internal Family Systems, which works with ‘parts’ of people that may hold emotions, memories, or beliefs from our pasts, Relational-cultural Therapy, which explores the human need for connection and seeks to examine relationships with ourselves, others, and our culture; and Narrative Therapy, which explores the story we tell ourselves about ourselves and how we can shift that narrative towards one of growth and wellness.

Whether you consider yourself a lifelong artist or don’t even feel like you can draw a stick figure, I aim to make a creative, collaborative environment that can bring you closer to being the person that you want to be.

THERAPY- SOMATIC EXPERIENCING- DANCE THERAPY- REIKI- WALK/TALK THERAPY

Jenn Sylvia, LCSW

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I am passionate about integrating expressive arts—such as movement, music, art, and writing—into therapy. Sometimes, these alternative approaches can help you connect with your feelings in ways that traditional talk therapy may not. Words alone may not capture the intensity or complexity of your experience.

In addition to expressive arts, I bring a range of therapeutic interventions to the table, including Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (MBCBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Somatic Experiencing, and Narrative Therapy. My approach is strengths-based, client-centered, and trauma-informed, with a focus on helping you feel empowered and supported as we work together toward healing.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW/LICSW) in both North Carolina and Massachusetts. We can meet from the comfort of your own home via telehealth sessions, or in-person sessions for residents of North Carolina. In 2018, I graduated with my Master’s in Social Work (MSW) from Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts. My undergraduate degree is in Theater Arts and Creative Expressions from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

I hope to offer a space where you feel comfortable showing up as you are. Together we can explore the parts of your story that may feel heavy, complicated, anxiety-provoking, or frustrating. Through an integrative lens, we can bring awareness to the thoughts and emotions that make up your experience. You are not alone in this world, and you do not need to go through the challenges of life on your own. I believe that you already know how to heal yourself; therapy, therefore, can support you in discovering, or rediscovering, the skills and strategies to live a life that aligns with your truest self.

My experience consists of working with youth, adolescents, and adults in school, partial hospitalization, and outpatient settings. More recently, I have been working with adults navigating grief, anxiety, low self esteem, relationship trauma and life transitions.  I’m looking forward to connecting with you. Let’s take the next step in your healing journey together!

Specialties:

  • Grief counseling

  • PTSD/C-PTSD

  • Anxiety management

  • Low self-esteem support

  • Relationship trauma recovery
