We’re excited to announce the addition of Sound Healing offered as a guided sound bath to our integrative services at Move Talk Zen.
What to expect
A sound bath is a gentle, restful group experience where participants lie or sit comfortably while harmonic tones from instruments (singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and tuning forks) are played.
The sounds and vibrations help facilitate deep relaxation, support nervous system regulation, and can promote emotional release and clarity.
Sessions are led by a trained practitioner who blends intention-setting, breath-guided grounding, and live soundscape weaving to support somatic awareness and restorative states.
Benefits
Reduces stress and anxiety by activating the parasympathetic nervous system
Enhances body awareness and complements somatic therapy work
Supports better sleep and mental clarity
Can deepen Reiki and movement practices by integrating vibrational, energetic, and physical modalities
Accessible for all fitness and mobility levels
Who it’s for
Clients seeking an alternative or complement to talk therapy, somatic sessions, Reiki, or movement classes
People recovering from stress, burnout, anxiety, or chronic tension
Anyone curious about sound, meditation, and embodied wellness
Session options
Group sound baths (scheduled regularly) — ideal for community connection and affordable access
Private sound bath sessions — tailored for individual therapeutic needs, integration with Reiki, or specific embodiment goals
Combined sessions — pair sound baths with somatic therapy, movement prescriptions, or Reiki for a holistic experience
Practical details
Wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat, blanket, pillow, and water. We provide bolsters and blankets if needed.
Sessions typically last 60–90 minutes, including a brief intake and grounding phase.
Arrive 10–15 minutes early to settle in and communicate any sensitivities (hearing, light touch, medical concerns).
If you’d like to add a sound bath to your therapeutic plan or schedule a private session that integrates sound with movement and Reiki, contact us to discuss options and availability.
